What this document is

This page describes how Fox Studios is made. It is here so that you can decide how much weight to give anything else on the site.

Choosing what to cover

What gets written is decided by demand, not by a schedule. A question that keeps arriving, from readers or from our own work, becomes a page. A clever keyword with no real question behind it does not.

Named writers

Bylines are real people with real archives attached. If you disagree with a piece, you can see what else the same person has written and judge accordingly.

Reyansh Dole, Founder and lead builder. Reyansh started making small games as a teenager and now writes the devlogs and tutorials here, focused on how beginners actually ship a first project.

Mira Kovac, Tutorials and tools writer. Mira teaches coding to beginners and writes the step-by-step guides, always testing each one on someone who has never coded before.

Diego Fenn, Projects and community writer. Diego covers finished builds and the community around them, and runs the feedback threads that shape what the studio makes next.

Things you will not find here

  • Anything promising a result we cannot demonstrate.
  • Pages written backwards from a search term.
  • Advice we would not repeat to somebody sitting across a table.

How a page gets written

  1. Draft from experience, not from a page of search results.
  2. Underline every claim that rests on memory rather than a source.
  3. Support it or lose it. Each underline is backed by something we can name, or it comes out.
  4. A cold read by a second person catches the confident guesses the writer stopped seeing.

How we date articles

The date you see is real. A tidy up of wording leaves it alone; only a change to what the piece recommends moves the modified date, along with a note saying so.

A few of the links here make us money. That covers the running costs and stops well short of buying a kinder paragraph around them.

Nobody has ever bought the removal of a fair criticism here, and the ones who try mostly hand us the material for the next article.

How mistakes are handled

Corrections go to info@foxstudiosscratch.space. Include the address and the sentence. Anything factual is fixed without argument. Anything that changes what the article recommends gets a dated note underneath, so the change is visible.
